Hong Kong Trip Day 5

We wanted time to come to a stand still. Our shopping engine has just started roaring! But it was already the last few hours to going home! So we reluctantly woke up earlier and packed our loot into our luggage. We checked out and left our belongings at the office.

We still got a few hours before we depart for the airport so of course there is nothing better than to shop. But before that.. breakfast...

We went to a coffee house near our hostel. The food looks good so we decided to patronise them.

Breakfast was only SGD4.00! It would be excellent to have this kind of breakfast enjoyment everyday.

So we just shopped and walked around Mongkok area. Time was just running out. There were still so many malls we haven explored. There are lots of malls there with those mini stalls inside. The prices are VERY affordable. SGD7-8 can get a decent piece.

And we went to the bakery called Mei Xin. This bakery sells lots of nice bread and pastry.

Not forgetting the Lao Po Bing (Wife's biscuit) from the famous shop called Heng Hiang. It only cost HKD40 which is SGD8.00 for 1 box (ten pieces).

Then we hurried back to the hostel to squeeze the harvest into our luggage and off we went to the airport.

This is Jenny's and my luggage. Not alot right!

After we checked our luggage in, we realised Kai Lin has the heaviest, 16kg! Mine was the lightest, 10kg. Imagine I went with 7 kg ok...

So the HK ended with us flying back to SG feeling so exhausted from all the fun, food and shoppin. We will certainly miss HK! We will be back again!

Overall its a good and relaxing trip. I only spent around SGD800 including airfare and accomodation. I rate it 7/10 with good company, food and buying and buying and buying and buying....
